Noggin's Play With Me Sesame Mall Tour

BACKGROUND

Noggin, the commercial-free, educational network from Nickelodeon, wanted to build national awareness and promote the launch of their new, interactive preschool series: Play With Me Sesame.

Oasis inspired a vision: To create a colorful, live version of the show—from set design to music—to mimic a child’s play date and bring beloved Sesame Street characters such as Bert, Ernie and Grover to life on stage! The tour would travel to high-traffic shopping malls in ten major markets across the country targeting preschoolers, ages 2-5, parents and caregivers.

The show’s live host shared exciting ways to play with favorite Sesame Street characters and soon they were on their feet “moving and grooving” with Grover, singing and playing games with Ernie and reading stories with Bert.

RESULTS

Noggin's Play with Me Sesame Mall Tour generated a nationwide media buzz not to mention hundreds of leads for Noggin cable partners’ digital cable and broadband service packages. Over 25,000 kids, parents and caregivers enjoyed the shows over the course of the ten-city tour.

But the kids weren’t the only excited ones.

With audience sizes averaging 1,500, malls and parents were amazed at how smoothly events ran—from the VIP meet-and-greet with Bert, Ernie and Grover before the show to valet stroller parking!
